All images were taken in Antigua and around Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. I took a workshop (Art Workshops in La Antigua, Guatemala) given by Jon Kaplan, a very talented 'third-world' photographer. During a visit to the Sausalito Art Fair, I was so moved by Jon's photographs that I decided to take his workshop the following year. What a wonderful experience! Jon has been to Guatemala many times and intimately knows the culture, the small villages, and the people.
