On February 4th, 2007 (Karen's Birthday and Super Bowl Day) the Queen Mary 2 - for the first time ever - sailed into San Francisco Bay at around 4pm - Thousands of people had come to greet the large cruise ship - Crissy Field and the Marina were jam packed. The vessel had to enter the Bay at low tide so she would clear the Golden Gate Bridge. (there was 30 feet clearance left)
